A.C. Lyon is the moniker project of The Dog of Tears. The idea was born one evening after a rather un-eventful How-Weird Street Fair in San Francisco. Mr. Lyon aims to make you smile with the use of chunky, minimal beats and jammed out modular-madness. Styles range from ambient to dubby to grimey techno, but one thing is for sure: the music goes "Ort! Ort! Ort!"
When performing, A.C. often plays a hybrid live/DJ set, featuring both obscure and original electronica accompanied by live analog brapping. Besides his own music, A. is a constituent of the music of Subconscious Records, Muslimgauze, Coil, Nurse With Wound, and much much more.
